$60 Bounty Tournament results

Jeb Johnson wins the $60 Bounty event. After what was a very slow moving tournament for much of the day, the final table accelerated rapidly to end the tournament at the $1000/$2000 blind levels - with $95,000 in chips in play, this was very early for any tournament to end.

There were 19 entrants, Jeb won 7 of the bounties (his own included), David Syvertson had 3 bounties, Bill Burgess, Eric Coughlin and Michael Syvertson each had 2, Jason Kramer, Eric Parvey, and Mark Lawson all had 1 each.

The first truly big hand was when Mark Lawson went all-in with 77, and Jeb called with AK, with an A on the flop and no help, Mark was first out at the final table, and Jeb had a monster stack well north of 20K. Play slowed, as some shorter stacks were eliminated with some tough beats, Nick Taralson, Bobi Joubert, and Pat Anderson were the next 3 out. Then Michael and David Syvertson went out in amazingly short order near the bubble in a matter of 3 hands. Both were around 2/3 to 1/4 of average stack at that point of the tournament.

Eric Coughlin, bubble boy himself, got 4th to cash, Eric Parvey slid into 3rd, and the battle of the 2 stacks ended with Jeb's QQ holding up vs. Bill's 77.

Preliminary plan for next tournament is a $50 buy-in with $10 towards bounties on the 23rd of April, a Sunday. Stay Tuned for any possible changes!
