$30 Pot Limit Hold-em on March 11th

Our next event is set for March 11th at Greg and Bobi's in south Fargo. The address is in the email that I sent out.

The exact time is not set as of it yet, but should be either 3:00 or 4:00 in the afternoon. One plan might be to take a couple vehicle (my van, another vehicle that can have a lot of people) and go to the casino after the event gets done around 8:00. Let me know if anybody is interested in this.

For those of you who have not played PL before, it may take a bit of getting used to. First of all, the pot size and how it's determined. The pot size includes all blinds, calls, and bets, including the amount needed to call the original bet before a person raises. For example, if the blinds are 100/200 and 1 person limps in for 200, and then you want to raise pot, you can raise 700 to 900. This includes the blinds, the one call, your amount of 200 that calls = $700. Another situation would be 100/200 blinds, 2 people limp for 200, 1 person raises 600 to 800, and now you want to raise pot. The pot is now $300+$400+$800+$800=$2300. So your raise can be to a total of $3100. Obviously by this last example, it shows that there can be huge jumps in raises by reraising the pot. Be careful then when you announce 'pot raise'.

Look forward to seeing everybody there!
