Saturday's Results

A looooong day of poker ended up having Wolf winning the Pineapple nightcap after Nick G took home 1st in the early Hold-em.

Don't know if it was because of 2 tournaments, the early start, or whatever, but we had 30 show for the first tournament and 23 for the 2nd, a little bit less than anticipated.

Both final tables were marked by very even chip stacks and there was never a favorite for winner until they won their final hand.

Both tournaments were also marked by all different entrants in the money as well, which considering the tournament was a bit surprising, although there were a good number who played only one or the other.

Congratulations to all those players.

1st quarter is wrapping up and there are 16 people who are within 20 pts of 10th place. With 40 people at the next tournament, a cash is worth 24 pts, and could vault someone into the top 10 with a little luck.

This will also kick off the 2nd quarter, which will go through June 22nd.

There is no date set, as of yet, for the 1st quarter championship. It will be at the convenience of the individual players.

The 2nd quarter and the 3rd quarter championship are tenatively scheduled for the Sundays after those quarters respective final tournaments. There are a large number of people heading to Vegas at the end of June, and the Mille Lacs HPT is back in September.

March 30th is the next tournament, a 1.5 pt event.
