$60 Tournament, September 10th

Well, summer is coming to an end. If you're like me, you have mixed feelings on it going. Glad to see it go because I was way too busy, but sad to see it go because winter isn't a whole lot better.

The first of the 4 last 'major' tournaments will be on September 10th, Sunday @ 1:00. We'll have to see how it goes, being the first Sunday of football season and all, if it's too crowded to play, attracts too much attention, etc.

The buy-in is $60, the October and November tournaments will be $40, before the $80 December finale. Plenty, plenty of people are still in the running to make the points championship at this point, even someone who has not shown up as of yet.

We will be starting with $7,500 in tournament chips with blinds at $100/$100 again, 20 minute rounds.

I am going to show up a little bit early this time, and if anybody has any suggestions of getting money beforehand instead of at the site, I'm welcome to those ideas.

Hope to see everybody there!

Sunday, August 13th @ 1:00

Our next tournament is scheduled for August 13th @ 1:00.

$40 is the buy-in, and we will be using the new blind structure as listed in the previous post.

Based on the feedback I've received, preliminarily, from those I've talked to, it's as least an idea that we should at least try out, if not fully implement.

I know I've talked to a few people who are going to be out of town, so I'm not sure how many will be there, but if you could drop me a note through your e-mail or here, that'd be great. The past tournaments were 20 and 27 entrants. Starting in September, I do believe we will be pushing 30 with fall attendance.

Hope to see you all there!!
